The Minister of Municipalities, Ahmed Al-Hajjar, inaugurated the headquarters of the Monitoring and Intervention Department in the Office of Information Affairs in the Directorate. General Security, in the presence of the Director General of General Security, Major General Hassan Shuqair. Minister Al-Hajjar praised the “great” renaissance witnessed by the General Directorate of Public Security and the development it has achieved.  At the level of performance and the tasks assigned to it, he pointed out that the Monitoring and Intervention Department constitutes the executive arm.  For the Directorate to carry out precise tasks and enhance its ability to respond to various security challenges. Minister Al-Hajjar hoped that “we will all witness the rise of Lebanon again, the liberation of the south, and the extension of state authority over its entirety.”  Its territories, its own forces, and its security and military institutions.”
